You might get lucky and find a hard spot but it usually takes us three tries to get properly anchored.

It can be a bit busy with the day cruisers but quiet overnight. Great protection from the SW. We like to motor up close in about 12-15' of water and drop anchor there in the bight. The Newport Bridge is lit up at night and makes a nice scenic backdrop.
