Saratoga Battlefield
- Location: Champlain Canal
- Lat / Lon: N 42° 59.911' / W 073° 36.409'
- Depth: 10 feet
- Description: To visit the battlefield, anchor on the east side of the channel south of red buoy "100" then dinghy across to the
western shore, following a shallow creek up to a culvert under the highway. If the area directly across from red buoy "100" is overgrown, a better landing area lies just north, at green buoy "103." The visitor's center is a long uphill walk west of Route 4. Keep a sharp eye out, as sightings of deer are frequent here.
DISCLAIMER: Before committing to an anchorage, you should confirm that the location is not governed by a regulation that may conflict with your plans. An increasing number of states and municipalities are enacting laws that define where and how long you may anchor.
