Post office and places to eat gas station very close by, Instacart available, very friendly people - showers and bathrooms super clean - well protected - quiet - great spot to walk your dog- boat ramp has boats coming and going but no issues. Dock in good shape - bridge wasn't an issue - called coming down the river at 1hr then a half hour - no issue getting through. I'm shocked people don't visit more - probably my second favorite place in the sound. I'll be back for sure - plans to update in the future as well - 4 wide slips and T head can fit two. Plans to expand - great spot to just get away and not be bothered. Worth the trip up the river .

Hit this spot on two calm days - didn't even notice if boats where in the channel - had a solid hook here. The dog was very happy running up and down the beach. Crab pots only major issue - normal for the sound. Not a place I'd pick if wind may be an issue.

Tim is indeed the man, watched me come in and guided me in via radio. Docked right next to stripers. Great food, kid loves the pool. Nice rec area and gym. Everything is very clean. Neat map of the area to walk or bike to- very close to dollar general and a gas station McDonald's and some other restaurants. It is a little tight as others have mentioned - but manageable once you get some info on it. Calling ahead was very helpful.
