Marina Review for Rocketts Landing Marina

This dock is very affordable and close to town. A bike path runs directly in front of it providing access to over twenty miles of bike trails and numerous museums. As others have stated it has a lot of boat traffic on the weekends and a no wake zone is neither posted or observed. The restroom has a single men and single female with locking limited access. The showers were functional and reasonably clean. Sometimes supplies for toilet paper were lacking. There is a laundry mat about 1.5 miles away. People were very friendly in the area and with two great restaurants as neighbors. This is a floating dock and several fingers that had been damaged by high water earlier in the season. They have a gas pump but I don't think it is public access and there is no diesel available. We stayed two weeks due to close proximity to town and the airport. Great experience but it has the potential to be so much more. The collegiate and local rowing teams train and hold events here for which we had a dockside seat. Overall I would recommend but just know it has limitations!

Draft: 4.5'It's disappointing but maintenance and construction must be done. Just wish it was done before the northern migration. We were looking forward to seeing it.

They were closed Thanksgiving Day and Nicole showed up this morning at 0500. Diesel Fuel was $3.50/gal. Very convenient and just off the bridge at Destin. The fishing fleet started early so we did too.

Marina Review for Mud Island Marina (Memphis Yacht Club)

We tied up at the fuel dock after hours and stayed for two nights. John (mgr) and Tommy (asst mgr) were great. They helped get us fueled and pumped out. They even went above and beyond by using the pontoon boat to take us to Bass Pro and even picked us back up after walking around on Beale Street. Facilities are getting worn and the marina is shallow but access is 6-7'. Too bad that the city has allowed Mud Island to deteriorate because it is a beautiful venue and is not far from being viable again.

There are no restrooms available here. Supposedly they are open during the day but we did not see that. Very convenient to downtown. Gate has a combination lock on it. Pontoon saloon operates from here as well and their crew were very courteous. Price was high for the lack of amenities compared to other marinas but location makes up for it.

Was there in December and it was expected to be quiet. Facilities were clean and 100% operational. Beautiful area and close to town. Fred, Marina Manager, made a point to introduce himself and was very welcoming. I look forward to working with them to complete my boat's survey and this will be the start point for our loop adventure.
