Excellent deep white sand holding in beautiful water.

Only one house on a private island east of the bay which is likely not appreciative of explorers. That said there is a large extent of white beach along southerly shore fringed with casuarina trees. This is on the east side of the southern part of deserte

    Spent two nights here with south westerly winds. Good protection from winds south east through south west provided prevailing east, north east swell is mild as entrance to bay is exposed to this. Awesome sandy bottom holding littered with sand dollars. White sand bay and bars with salt Bahamas blue water make idyllic salt water swimming pool. Even if you don't overnight here, it makes for a tropical paradise experience. We had dolphins in the bay, which made for a surreal bonus. Depths between 5 to 8 feet and shallower depending on how close you want to sit to sandbars...Awesome beaches and islands enclose the lagoon...one island is private but a major beach runs on Powell cay that is totally accessible by tender...
