Description:
A straight, deep run up the bay will show you three possible anchoring places on the south shore. You will notice depths are not as well marked in this area on your chart, so proceed with extra caution and a bow watch.

Planned to anchor at Golden Sword, but didn't seem as protected. Easy access (following markers) to get in. Watch depths closely, as around the edges it shallows quickly. Great hold and clean anchor when hauled. Took dog to south shore without a problem. The wind turbines detract a little from the view, but most of it is gorgeous. Very quiet with no light pollution. Water is crystal clear. Stayed two nights.

Beautiful anchorage. Anchorage can hold 4-5 boats easily. Anchored in mud with no weeds. Poor cell service T-Mobile had poor signal, AT&T had 1 bar of 4G. No access to shore as this is native lands. Posted signs for access restrictions. We have no pets so did not need to go ashore
