  • Date Reported: Apr 13, 2025
  • Reporter: Bob423
  • Source: User
  • Description:

Update: 5.7 MLLW as of 4/2/2024 on the Bob423 track. Dredging is underway; call the dredge on 9, 13, or 16 for passing directions.

Note that G1, the green ATON towards the inlet is not an ICW buoy. Pass R46 by 70 ft off or better yet, follow the Bob423 track. Note that the depths can change by 10 feet within a boat's length, so take care.  The 4/4/2022 USACE chart is shown.

USACE = US Army Corps of Engineers
ATONs = Aids TO Navigation such as buoys and daymarks
Aqua Map = a navigation app for Apple and Android devices
Bob423 track = blue dotted line

These recommendations don't apply at this moment. There is an active dredge with floating pipe blocking the entire ICW channel. With floating pipe on the east side. Boats pass on the west side.
