FL: San Carlos Bay, Dredging

    Weeks Marine Inc. "Weeks" will be mobilizing equipment and installing submerged dredge pipelines until approximately November 10, 2024. A staging area for dredge pipelines and equipment located in the vicinity of San Carlos Bay, will be bound by the following approximate positions:
     26-28-34.26N / 81-59-35.94W
     26-28-17.22N / 81-58-52.32W
    26-28-04.38N / 81-58-58.14W
    26-28-24.43N / 81-59-42.46W
     During this period of time the submerged dredge pipeline(s) will be installed in a designated pipeline corridor bound by the following approximate positions:
     26-22-41.92N / 81-55-20.80W
    81-55-20.80N / 81-54-27.97W
    26-20-53.98N / 81-51-14.64W
    26-22-47.84N / 81-52-09.84W
    26-23-48.54N / 81-53-05.76W
     The staging area will be utilized for the duration of the project. The submerged lines will be removed at the completion of dredging operations. Starting approximately November 6, 2024 and continuing until approximately December 31, 2024, hydraulic dredge E.W. ELLEFSEN will be operating in the designated offshore borrow area, located approx. 27 nautical miles west of the beach placement sites, bound by the following approximate positions:
    26-22-47.10N / 82-22-33.48W
    26-23-23.90N / 82-21-51.99W
    26-22-41.51N / 82-21-08.21W
    26-22-05.37N / 82-21-45.32W
    The scows route, mooring and waiting areas will be bound by the following approximate positions:
    26-23-58.67-N / 82-22-39.58W
    26-21-21.35-N / 82-23-05.63W
    26-20-23.71-N / 81-51-35.26W
    26-23-38.00-N / 81-53-43.12W
    Operations will continue on a twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven days per week basis. Barges, pipeline(s), and equipment will have all required Coast Guard lighting for night operations. On scene vessels will monitor marine VHF-FM channels 13 and 16. Mariners are urged to use extreme caution and transit the area at their slowest safe speed to create minimum wake after passing arrangements have been made.
