Golden Isles Lake
- Lat / Lon: N 25° 58.999' / W 080° 07.546'
- Depth: 20
- Description:
A very protected anchorage in the city. There are a few derelict boats in here but there is enough room to anchor around them. The entrance is narrow but is no less than 8 feet deep. The lake is deep with soundings up to 25 feet. Great overnight spot among condos but not much in the case of shore access.
DISCLAIMER: The laws and regulations governing anchoring in Florida waters are complex and everchanging. If you plan to anchor, whether overnight or for an extended period, you should confirm whether you are in compliance with local and state requirements before committing to a location. Two sources of information that may be helpful are the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Florida State Statutes.
