Good anchoring but a little exposed to wind and wakes. Very popular in summer over weekend. Powerboats however dies not slow down when passing causing big wakes. When entering the area, do not turn before passing market 28 as you will tun aground. Also coming up the channel do not venture to close to side as your run out of depth quickly on a sail boat. Can dinghy over to Moody Gardens hotel dinghy dock and visit hotel for drinks/dinner.
