The anchorage is large enough for one to two vessels in a man-made lagoon north of the Mega Marina of the Bimini Bay Resort. The protection from the wind is excellent (the best in Bimini) and the holding is good. The problem with this anchorage is there is no place to go ashore without walking through private property, which is frowned upon. The entire area is part of an exclusive community of private homes, and the local security force does not appreciate trespassers.
