The anchorage at Pelican Cay is very similar to the anchorage at Alabaster Bay except it is more secluded and shore access is much more limited.
The protection is good from east through south and the holding is very good. There are some interesting snorkeling opportunities along the shoreline of Pelican Cay as well as amongst the rocks on the bar between Pelican Cay and the mainland.
