Shoepack Bay
- Lat / Lon: N 46° 09.595' / W 082° 21.445'
- Description:
Shoepack Bay, just north of Little Detroit, is very deep, but the rock face is sheer so you have to tie up to trees. There are several coves suitable for a lunch stop in the area, and the fishing to the north here is reportedly good, given the numbers of local boats found here.
DISCLAIMER: Before committing to an anchorage, you should confirm that the location is not governed by a regulation that may conflict with your plans. An increasing number of states and municipalities are enacting laws that define where and how long you may anchor.
