- Description: The anchorage at Cayo Guayo is a great alternative for vessels that do not want to tackle the complexities of the Bahia de Casilda. Located very close to the Canal de las Mulatas, it is a favorite of the local snapper fishermen, who use the anchorage as a place to pause after their nets have been set. See Waterway Guide Cuba for details on navigation and approaches.
DISCLAIMER: Before committing to an anchorage, you should confirm that the location is not governed by a regulation that may conflict with your plans. An increasing number of states and municipalities are enacting laws that define where and how long you may anchor.
