- Description: The anchorage at Cayo Guano del Este is located on the west side of the cayo between the rise of the lighthouse and the northern tip. It is almost always always rolly as the cayo offers little protection from the wind, waves or currents. For boaters coming from or heading to Cienfuegos this is the closest anchorage.
