Siskiwit Bay (Wright Island) - Isle Royale
- Location: Lake Superior
- Lat / Lon: N 47° 58.265' / W 088° 49.246'
- Depth: 11 feet
- Description:
The eastern bight of Wright Island is a straightforward anchorage. The western bight of Wright Island at Hopkins Harbor is a bit trickier. Ease into the bight, favoring the south side to avoid the rocks. Drop your hook partway into the bay. North of Malone Island is another great anchorage. Turn to the east after entering through the marked channel and anchor in 15-foot depths between Isle Royale and Malone Island.
DISCLAIMER: Before committing to an anchorage, you should confirm that the location is not governed by a regulation that may conflict with your plans. An increasing number of states and municipalities are enacting laws that define where and how long you may anchor.
