Frankfort-Betsie Bay

• Depth: 7-10 ft.
• Description:

  Designated anchorage area is on the north side of the lake, just east of the launch ramps. There are numerous moorings with small boats in this anchorage. Depths are reportedly shallower than the chart indicates and holding is poor. You can also anchor to the west of the ramp in about 7-foot depths, although you may find mornings noisy when the small boat fishing fleet leaves. This is a good spot from which to provision.
