  Note that Long Beach Point might be completely submerged at high tide. Pass red nun buoy 12A close to starboard to avoid shoals extending from the northeast. Steer for green can buoy 13 immediately after rounding red nun buoy 12. Near Wareham, the river narrows, and currents of up to 3 knots can be expected.
