• Description:

  Despite being relatively exposed from all directions, this anchorage is surprisingly calm and it is a good spot to wait for the top of the tide when making the transit down the west side of Hoffman Cay towards the Blue Hole Anchorage. The anchorage is far enough back from the cuts to avoid the worst of the swells, most of which are knocked down by the nearly drying sandbars that surround the anchorage.
